Weekly Photo Challenge : Early Bird

The early bird can be interpreted as the photographer, out in the early morning to use the special light at that time of day. Of course, it can also be interpreted as the subject – sunrise, early morning mist or long shadows as examples. Here is my take on the subject for this week’s challenge. For the first time, I decided to play with black and white for a couple of images.

This post is in response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Early Bird.”

Weekly Photo Challenge : Blur (II)

I couldn’t resist offering a second entry in this challenge, when I thought about photos that might not otherwise be shared. Both offer natural blur caused by movement. In one, a man walks into view as an attempt is made to take a snapshot through the open door of a train. In the second, the movement is as a train is departing the station.

This is my second response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Blur.”
